From time to time, your Virtual Desktop (...or just Quickboooks) may freeze and become unresponsive. We have authored a solution to resolve. To unfreeze your Virtual Desktop when it locks up, follow these steps:
Solution 1:
On your Virtual Desktop, type 'LogOff' in the Taskbar Search Window and press 'Enter' as shown in the image below.
Windows will initiate the logoff process, and you will be signed out of your user account.
You can now reconnect to your your virtual desktop.
If Windows does not initiaite a logoff repeat and rather than press 'Enter', click on the menu itme named 'Logoff', it is circled in blue in the image above.
Solution 2:
Click anywhere on your Virtual Desktop.
Click on the Windows icon (1) in the taskbar to open the Start Menu.
In the Start Menu's search bar, type "File Explorer" (2) and press 'Enter'. This will open File Explorer.
With File Explorer opened, click to the right of 'Home' and then type 'Logoff' and press 'Enter'
Windows will initiate the logoff process, and you will be signed out of your user account.
You can now reconnect to your your virtual desktop.
Solution 3:
Click anywhere on your Virtual Desktop.
Press Ctrl + Alt + END on your Keyboard.
Click 'Sign Out'
Windows will initiate the logoff process, and you will be signed out of your user account.
You can now reconnect to your your virtual desktop.
