Accessing your virtual desktop via a web browser allows you to use your mCloud Virtual Desktop resources without installing any software on your device. You can use any HTML5-capable web browser, such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox. The web client supports features such as device redirection, multiple monitor support, and custom display resolutions.
Using the Windows app requires you to download and install the Remote Desktop client for Windows on your device. The Windows app provides an optimized experience for connecting to mCloud Virtual Desktop, with features such as Microsoft Teams optimizations, dynamic display resolutions and scaling, and clipboard redirection.
Both methods require Internet access and a valid user account. Depending on your preferences and needs, you can choose the best option for you. You can also switch between the web client and the Windows app as needed.
